Collaboration:

Curriculum improvement: Café Britt supports of the International High School degree for public schools in Costa Rica.

Café Britt is a Member of Honor of the Business Association for Development’s (AED), an organization that comprises more than 70 companies with social responsibility programs in Costa Rica. Projects benefit public schools such as Heredia School for Special Education and San Francisco School in Heredia.

Donations of supplies to low-income students in schools such as El Montecito, Alberto Paniagua and schools on indigenous reserves.

Free Café Britt’s CoffeeTour performances for more than 500 school students and organizations such as ANAMPE which support the disabled and other vulnerable sectors of the community.

Support for innovative programs that significantly enhance community development and promote sound administration of resources.

Systems based on OSHA 18000 in place to ensure the health and safety of everyone on staff. Employees participate in training activities on workplace safety, workplace risks, occupational health, and accident prevention.

Funding budgeted for health fairs for staffers and their families.

Culture of volunteerism encouraged among personnel and our suppliers. We believe it's our social obligation to work to eliminate barriers based on class, social, cultural and ethnic differences. More than 130 staffers have volunteered for our programs.
